Our Mission

Adopt An Art's mission has always been to serve those students who have no way of receiving the arts otherwise.

 

To stay true to that statement, Adopt An Art is constantly searching for those schools in which the arts programs are dying or have already been eliminated. We are currently serving Mary Todd Elementary School in Lexington, KY, with plans to continue expanding our efforts in the state of Kentucky. Adopt An Art curriculum attempts to give students a well-rounded prowess in the arts and empower them to further pursue the arts in secondary education. The curriculum is taught by a group of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about students and the humanities.
